Best practices in prescribing opioids and controlled substances in pediatrics Part II

Best practices in prescribing opioids and controlled substances in pediatrics Part I and Part II together meet the requirements of the Department of Human Services Opioid Prescribing Improvement Program, pursuant to Minn. Stat. §214.12, subd. 6(b). The statute requires individuals with licenses with the authority to prescribe controlled substances to obtain at least two hours of CME on best practices in prescribing opioids and controlled substances.

Once you have completed the training, you will need to complete the quiz, evaluation, and print off your certificate (s). Following these steps, visit either the Board of Medical Practice at www.bmp.state.mn.us and access your online account (online services/my services/login) OR the Minnesota Board of Nursing at https://mn.gov/boards/nursing/ and access your account. You will need to submit verification of the course completion and course content (objectives are included on the certificate of attendance).
