The Peer Supporter workshop explores the presence and impact of the second victim phenomenon among healthcare workers, identifies key elements to recognize and provide peer support to colleagues 1:1 and in a team setting.This workshop will be offered monthly in-person at the Children's Business Campus.

Peer Support Salon Workshops are structured gatherings where multi-disciplinary caregivers engage in a facilitated conversation to exchange perspectives and ideas about practice based on their experiences. Participants will experience social connection by forming and informing a salon conversation, followed by training on how to lead a Peer Support Salon conversation. Peer Support Salons are a proactive approach to enhancing the culture of safety at Children’s Minnesota.This workshop will be offered quarterly in-person at the Children's Business Campus.

This course introduces the foundations of safety science and continuous improvement needed for both new and experienced leaders to engage in patient safety and performance efforts at Children’s Minnesota. It will include technical processes within the software system (RL platform) that is used to capture safety learning reports and follow-up documentation as well as provide time for leaders to ask specific questions.

In this education, we will simplify GERD/Reflux diagnosis, and management options for clinicians. We will review clear diagnosis criteria and treatment options for infants through young adulthood. We will discuss red flags, when and how to refer, and additional resources for parent/family education.
