Non-accidental trauma remains a leading cause of traumatic death in infants and young children. Collaboration between clinicians and radiologists is essential for identifying children with abusive injuries. In this module we focus on the radiologic evaluation of children with suspected non-accident trauma. Dr. William Mize, medical director of radiology and radiology trauma liaison has graciously selected our articles for this learning module. Coagulation defects are largely responsible for the disproportional mortality caused by hemorrhage.  Tranexamic acid (TXA) and massive transfusion protocols are useful tools to combat bleeding in injured patients. This trauma internal education module focuses on coagulopathy, massive transfusion, and the use of TXA in injured pediatric patients. Our critical care liaison, Dr. Erik Mikkelsen has selected the following articles for this module. Please review the articles and answer the corresponding questions to complete the module.
