Each year, the Graduate Medical Education department awards one Children's Minnesota physician for their significant contribution to the education of residents and student. This year, the Mitch Einzig Teaching Award was presented to Dr. Gabrielle Hester, pediatric hospitalist, for her sustained excellence in teaching, her ability to inspire and foster critical thinking, and an overall contribution to medical education at Children’s.
