Learning Objectives

  • Manage first-time seizure in an infant. 
  • Manage benzodiazepine-induced acute respiratory failure via bag-mask ventilation and rapid-sequence intubation. 
  • Explain appropriate escalation of care via RRT versus code. 
  • Use closed-loop communication to care for a decompensating patient with a multidisciplinary team.
