Learning Objectives

  • Manage first-time seizure in an infant
  • Manage benzodiazepine-induced acute respiratory failure via bag-mask ventilation and rapid-sequence intubation
  • Discuss appropriate escalation of care via RRT versus code
  • Demonstrate closed-loop communication to care for a decompensating patient with a multidisciplinary team
