The primary focus of the regional meeting is engaging with the SPS MN regional’s goals and strategies for supporting Culture of Safety and improvement in key SPS network priority areas which include: Safety Disparities, Employee/Staff Safety, and Healthcare Associated Conditions (HAC) reduction.

The last hour of the day (3:30-4:30pm) we will be offering hospital tours. Attendees can choose to participate in one or both hospital tours (each will last ~20 minutes and be offered twice) and/or enjoy open networking time in the Education Center. Light refreshments will be provided.
Hospital Tour Option 1:
CVICU - highlighting CLABSI rounds and CNS involvement in preventable harm
Simulation - highlighting 'Brave Space' as an intervention to prevent patient harm
Hospital Tour Option 2:
PICU- highlighting Journey to Zero Champion observations & safety coaching
6th Floor - highlighting safety huddles
The workshop will be held in the 2nd Floor Education Center. Team members from the event will be onsite the day of to meet you outside of the center.
PARKING INFORMATION:
Park in the GREEN Parking ramp located on 26th street. Attendees are to park on the 4th level of the ramp and take the elevator to the skyway level. Parking fees are the responsibility of the attendee. Parking fees will be approximately $12.
