Trauma Speakers Series
Children’s Minnesota Trauma Speakers Series VI: Trauma Care from the Patient and Family Perspective
In Children’s Minnesota Trauma Speakers VI, patients’ clinical care and lived experiences will be shared from the perspectives of both the clinical team and the patient and/or their family. This series aims to bring together a patient and/or family member and a member of their care team to review the patient’s clinical course and to share their experiences of resuscitation and recovery.
Objectives:
Use case reviews to review the clinical care of traumatic injuries in children and adolescents and to highlight insights from the perspective of the patient and/or family member.
Discuss ways in which clinical team members can positively influence the care and recovery of a child or adolescent and their family after a traumatic event.
Join us on the second Wednesday of each month as our trauma team discusses topics relevant to caring for trauma patients. At Children’s Minnesota, we’re specialized in everything, and ready for anything. *Dates may be subject to change based on speaker availability.
