L092025: Best of the Midwest: 2025 Fetal Cardiology Symposium

Bloomington, MN US
September 20, 2025

Currently 1 out of 100 infants born in the United States has a heart defect, and 20-30% of these babies suffer from serious or life-threatening defects. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, more infants die in the United States from congenital heart disease than from any other birth defect. To date, routine prenatal screenings detect less than half of these heart defects, leaving them to be discovered only after birth and in many instances not until the infant becomes profoundly ill. Improvement in prenatal detection rates for congenital heart disease can approach 90% when a rigorous population-based screening protocol, with sonographer education at its core, is implemented.

Join us for this one-day symposium as we share best practices to improve recognition and outcomes of fetal congenital cardiac abnormalities.

FEES: Physician $150, Non-Physician $50.  Non-physician attendees will have their fees adjusted at check out.
