The healthcare environment exposes healthcare workers to unexpected and near miss events, including patient harm and medical errors. The Peer Supporter workshop explores the presence and impact of the second victim phenomenon among healthcare workers, identifies key elements to recognize and provide peer support to colleagues 1:1 and in a team setting.
