  • Identify the different techniques of doing a femoral nerve block
  • Discuss the benefits of using ultrasound-guided nerve block for treating femur fractures
  • Describe the outpatient pain management practices after discharge from the ED in children with forearm fractures requiring reduction, including the number of doses of oxycodone administered by parents
  • Identify the average number of doses of oxycodone prescribed by providers
  • Discuss the evidence behind need for quality interpretation in the pediatric emergency department
  • Discuss findings of a survey administered to families receiving interpretation in the pediatric emergency department at Children's Minnesota
