The healthcare environment exposes healthcare workers to unexpected and near miss events, including patient harm and medical errors. The Peer Supporter workshop explores the presence and impact of the second victim phenomenon among healthcare workers, identifies key elements to recognize and provide peer support to colleagues 1:1 and in a team setting.

This workshop is designed for Children's Minnesota employees who have a patient/family facing role.

CBC3 Picnic. This room is located on the 3rd floor of the Children’s Business Center (CBC) (main level entrance level). After entering the main level doors and going through the security door, turn right and then take another right when you see the opening towards the stairs and cafeteria. Walk through the sitting area of the cafeteria and the room is on the backside of the cafeteria. We will be there to welcome you and help you find your way if needed.
