This course will be held in-person from 8:00 - 4:30 pm at the CBC.

This course turns leaders into great coaches and provides tools that are simple enough to use immediately but strong enough to last. It will provide a way to assess coaching levels and how to improve them. The goal of this course is to improve the coaching of leadership and offer other avenues of thinking when it comes to coaching.

Pre-work: A week before the course date you will receive an email detailing the pre-work for the course: a coaching self evaluation. Please note that this pre-work MUST be completed before the start date of the course. Pre-work should take 30 minutes in total to complete.

Target Audience

This course is designed for Children's Minnesota Leadership including all patient care leaders and non-patient care leaders.

Learning Objectives

  • Explain the role coaching serves in achieving business results and unlocking potential  
  • Discover and practice how to have focused conversations with team members on significant priorities to achieve breakthroughs and alignment, even around the “tough” topics 
  • Guide others to make correct decisions and act with accountability and buy-in to match 
  • Create an embedded coaching routine for Check-In’s and Feedback
