ForwardL2024 Peer Supporter Workshop
The healthcare environment exposes healthcare workers to unexpected and near miss events, including patient harm and medical errors. The Peer Supporter workshop explores the presence and impact of the second victim phenomenon among healthcare workers, identifies key elements to recognize and provide peer support to colleagues 1:1 and in a team setting.
This workshop will be offered monthly in-person at the Children's Business Campus.

Target Audience
This activity is open to all employees at Children's Minnesota. It is designed and intended for Children's Minnesota employees who have a patient/family facing role. If you have any questions on whether this workshop meets a need for you, please email the team at P2PSupport@childrensmn.org.

Children’s Minnesota designates this live activity for a maximum of 4.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent to their participation in the activity.
ANCC
Children's Minnesota designates this live activity for a maximum of 4.0 ANCC nursing contact hour. Nurses should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
Pharmacists will have their attendance reported in the CPE Monitor for ACPE credits provided they have entered their NABP-ePID and birth month and day where indicated when setting up their profile.
This program offers 4.0 contact hours of continuing education. Most medical professional organizations accept AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. It is the individual’s responsibility to determine whether an education activity meets the continuing education requirements of their respective licensures and/or professional boards.
