This is Module 4 of 7

This program is designed to equip leaders with the skills and knowledge necessary to foster an inclusive environment. Through a series of seven 90-minute sessions, participants will explore various aspects of inclusive leadership, enabling participants to lead with empathy, effectiveness, cultural intelligence and a deep understanding of diverse experiences and perspectives. By empowering leaders to champion inclusivity, the program aims to improve interactions, communication and staff retention, ultimately enhancing patient care and staff well-being.

Target Audience

Children's Minnesota clinicians, nurses, social workers and rehab staff on the Cardiovascular Unit.

  • Demonstrate how to identify, address, and prevent microaggressions
  • Define and differentiate between race, ethnicity, and culture and summarize how these concepts influence individuals and the workplace
